Join Us for an Amazing Weekend

Wanting to learn more about trail running?

Looking to improve your technical skills, strength and fitness?

Simply craving to explore amazing trails and meet other runners?

If yes, then please join us for an amazing weekend of trail running in stunning Blue Mountain, Ontario!

Highlights

After the long, drawn-out winter and spring, this weekend will be a perfect time to devote more time to yourself and your training. Your running legs will get their fix exploring new terrain while fine tuning your technical skills. Your mind will be filled with new ideas and knowledge on how to take your training further. Your motivation will be fueled by the energy of others. And your rest, recovery and fuelling in between runs will be taken care of!

Over the course of the weekend you will:

  • Participate in structured runs that will teach pacing, endurance, strength and speed

  • Gain experience and confidence with on-trail technical tips and tricks, hill training coaching, and endurance strategies

  • Learn how to become a more efficient and effective runner

  • Engage in stimulating discussions pertaining focusing on ultra running, injury prevention, nutrition and recovery and more.

Who is this for?

You don't need to be a hard-core trail runner (although you can be!)-you just need to have a passion for the trails and eager to have fun, relax and learn more about yourself. All runs can be tailored according to different paces and distances, although you must be able to run a minimum of 10k. Grab a training partner (or come solo and meet others) and join us for an amazing weekend! Registration is open to both men and women (unlike the fall retreat, which is Women's only)

What's Included with Registration

I may be a bit shy in new groups but Jennifer did an amazing job setting up a safe environment; everything about the camp was perfectly executed! The weekend really motivated me to reconsider what I love about running, and really helped fuel me to not doubt myself and my abilities.

Sample Itinerary (subject to change)

This will be an amazing weekend all about the trails! I’m so excited to share with you some of my favorite routes in the area-you will get your pick of scenery, climbing, solitude, gentle or technical terrain etc…there is a little bit of everything! We will also be having many discussions—not just how to become a more efficient, stronger and resilient runner, but also how to embrace the true meaning of running and maximize your enjoyment.

Friday

Begin the weekend with a leisurely group run mid-afternoon and start exploring the trails. In the evening, we will enjoy a prepared dinner from a local caterer and get to know each other a little bit better.

Saturday

Begin the day with an optional Sunrise Stretch & Mobility session. After breakfast, we'll head out for our morning run, where we will focus on your technique -including how to better master the hills.

After our run, we will replenish our body with lunch (and maybe a soak in the hot tub?) and another group discussion/active workshop. There will then be a little bit down time to do as you please before dinner.

In the evening, it’s time to put up your feet, enjoy a savoury catered meal, engage in a lively discussion and hopefully win one of the amazing draw prizes!

Sunday

There will be an optional short "run into the sunrise" for those interested. After breakfast, we’ll head out for our "longish" run. Upon our return to the chalet, we will then settle down for our last meal and go over any last-minute questions, tips and goal setting ideas.
